The Art of Impatience
Anyone can tell you, I’m the Queen of Impatience.
Slowness annoys me. Waiting is the invention of the devil. And don’t even get me started on the hell I go through when I have something on pre-order. (I KNOW IT’S NOT AVAILABLE YET BUT YOU’VE TAKEN MY MONIES SO GIMME!)
So knowing I have wait until January 2015 to share the story I’ve been working on for three years is a special kind of hell.
But I’ll find a way to endure, even if it’s with a type of twitchy anticipation that will make people believe I have a rare neurological bouncing-disorder. (B.O. for short.)
As the months count down, I apologize in advance for the times I will do this:
And sometimes, even this:
Even though I make no promises, I’ll try to keep my B.O. to a minimum. Forgive me in advance if I’m not always entirely successful.
In the meantime, please accept my extensive and vaguely inappropriate smooshings.
